Elida Jacobsen
Head of Research
Elida is our research leader with responsibility for the development, funding and follow-up of research projects at the King Institute and the building of the department’s academic network.
Elida holds a PhD in Peace and Development Research from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and an MA in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from Jaume I University in Castellon, Spain. She is the coordinator of the course Peace and conflict studies at Kulturstudier and OsloMet. Elida has previously been a senior researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).
