Alaa Alshaham

Alaa Alshaham is an Advisor for the King Institute.

Alaa is a civil engineer (IUG) specializing in project management. As the co-founder of the Pursuit of Harmony initiative, he has extensive experience in leadership training and inter-faith practice.

In 2014, Alaa’s extensive involvement and work with children and youth in conflict areas led him to win the «Children of the Earth Award» at Nordkapp. With a long background as a guide and mentor in various youth initiatives, he has played key roles in social entrepreneurship in various countries, including Norway. An example is «The Big Dream Choir» with more than 400 children in the West Bank, who sang with a message of hope, moderation, and unity.
