Mahmudul (Moni) is an associate advisor and researcher at the King Institute.

Md Mahmudul Hoque (Moni) is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. His research area is child labor. Moni is on leave from his position as a senior secretary for the government of Bangladesh. He holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, a Norwegian master’s degree in Media and Communication with a scholarship from Norad, and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. Moni is also a documentary photographer. He is from Bangladesh.
