EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
«Dialogue and education for peace can help free our hearts from the impulse toward intolerance and the rejection of others»
OUR GRADUATE STUDIES
The King Institute runs a half-year program in conflict transformation at the Norwegian School of Ledership and Theology, which is conducted annually by fifty to seventy students. This is targeted education for students who want to work with dialogue and peace work after graduation, or who seek knowledge about conflict management and dialogue work. The study focuses on understanding, tools and practice.

SCHOOL VISITTING PROGRAM
Together with a team of teachers from three different schools in Oslo, we develop a half-day pedagogical program for visiting classes in 10th grade and 1st upper secondary school.
King Research conducts research projects that develop the field of peace research and human rights. Our projects deal with topics such as exclusion, inclusion, religion, mediation and modern slavery in local and global contexts.
We produce reports and articles that are relevant to the field of practice and that are intended to support transformation and social change. Results from research are further used as a basis for education and courses. The King Institute aims to have a natural connection between theory and practice.
